We had an awesome day sailing on Narragansett Bay with a documentary crew aboard Hurrah. It was a pleasure to host such a thoughtful group and take in the views while talking about the early history of Rhode Island.
From my ancestor, Roger Williams and the founding of Providence to Newport’s Touro Synagogue, the oldest in the U.S., the conversation touched on many of the people and places that helped shape this area. Being out on the water added a unique perspective to the stories of Rhode Island’s early settlers and its role in American history.
Thanks to @ddcinternational for joining us—we’re looking forward to seeing the project come to life.
